LA’s largest Asian-centric festival, Head In The Clouds, is slated to make their Rose Bowl return on August 8th! Being coined as the “Who’s who of top Asian talent” by Rolling Stone, and “Putting Asian representation front and center” by Billboard.  It’s safe to say California is ready to welcome the festival back home with open arms!

This one day-long festival is proud to showcase many heavy hitters on their line up including: Kpop rookie boygroup LNGSHOT. Whose CEO, Jay Park lit up the stage with Sik-k and PH-1 at HITC in 2022! Global phenomenon XG is also a fan favorite who’ve hit the festival’s main stage back in 2023, and are sure to leave their mark again 3 years later. 88Rising are also represented by poster boy Warren Hue, who always adds to the Pasadena heat with his electric stage. Warren won't be the only 88Rising artist on stage though, 4 member global girl group No Na will be putting in that “Work” for their debut Head In the Clouds Stage! And you can’t mention HITC and 88Rising without talking about Rich Brian. The “Drive Safe” singer/rapper is a token of every HITC, having headlined and supported many years at the fest. This will be a set you don’t want to miss!

‍ ‍Dabin.Kr is another don’t want to miss set, previously known as DPR LIVE, Dabin has taken the world by storm with his new record label CTYL, and will definitely give fans a show to remember! Another HITC alum slated to make her return is Umi, a R&B singer-songwriter who made her Rose Bowl debut back in 202. Chinese-American singer-songwriter Tiffany Day will also be taking a small intermission from her Halo North American Tour to bring light to the Head In The Clouds stage. Also on the lineup is Gia Fu, who is a DJ born in Hong Kong. Fu mixes Afro-Latin sounds with her Chinese heritage, blending the two beloved cultures in one extra special set for her HITC debut!

On the note of first time performances, rookie girlgroup KiiiKiii will be making their HITC and American debut. The newest Starship Entertainment girl group became popular for their Y2K style and House Music sound in their song “404: New Era,” but there will be no error in seeing their fun-filled, high-energy set on August 8th! And finally, wrapping up the lineup is the headliner, Katseye! The global 6 member HYBExGeffen girl group, known for their vocals and high energy dancing, will be setting the stage on fire after their set at Coachella and NYC’s Governor's Ball! Surely to bring hits like, “Gnarly,” “Gabriela,” and their new release, “Pinky Up,” we know fans won’t want to miss this!

88rising is not a new face to California or the Rose Bowl. Partnering with festival mogul Goldenvoice, this asian centric music label was able to bring a first-of-its-kind festival that emphasizes Asian heritage, artists, and voices. Beginning in September 2018, Head In The Clouds LA has been a staple event in every music lover's festival lineup! They have even branched out to go global in places like Indonesia, Jakarta, Manila, and the Philippines in 2022, as well as spreading domestically by hosting Head In The Clouds NYC at Forest Hill Stadium in 2023-2025.

The label has been able to bring voices together through the label releasing an album entitled “Head In The Clouds,” in July 2018, with the iconic track, “History,” attached to it, and then again in 2019, releasing “Head In The Clouds II” featuring artists like Jackson Wang, ChungHa, Major Lazer, and more. They would then go on to release “Head In The Clouds III,” in 2021, releasing the track “California” featuring Niki, Warren Hue, and Rich Brian, along with a popular remix with Jackson Wang. 88Rising will then go on to produce the soundtrack to Marvel’s Shang-Chi in 2021, housing tracks from artists like Anderson Paak, Swae Lee, Jhené Aiko, Rich Brian, Keshi, and many more.

Given 88Rising’s track record, Head In The Clouds LA 2026 is a festival you will NOT want to miss! Who are YOU most excited to see?!
