Hi-Fi Un!corn’s “DREAMING” & “LAILA” Cure Seasonal Depression

Hi-Fi Un!corn debuted June 26th, 2023, under FNC with a lineup secured by the program, “THE IDOL BAND: BOY’S BATTLE”. Hi-Fi Un!corn released their Japanese single, “DREAMING” on February 2nd, 2026. “DREAMING” directly follows the release of their Korean single, “LAILA”. Including members of both Korean and Japanese descent - Hyunyul, Kiyoon, Taemin, Shuto, and Min- the band releases music in both languages, which makes them distinct from other acts in the K-pop scene.

“DREAMING” is a song that encourages the listener to dream big and reach for the sky. The lyrics serve as a pep talk, assuring the audience that courage and a smile are the keys to success on any journey they may undertake. The group really drives the song home with an upbeat instrumental full of ever-changing samples. Fun brass, light piano, and steady drums tie everything together to create a high-energy pop-rock track that doesn’t take itself too seriously. The members are credited with writing this track, so it serves as a window into what the future holds for their personal style in the industry.

“LAILA” is a bright track that showcases the group's talents through crisp guitar solos and layered backing harmonies.
